Hours Extended For Mobile Clinic

The public is advised that the operating hours of the Ministry of Health and Wellness’ mobile clinic will now be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The schedule for next week is as follows:

• Monday, February 3

Black Bess Resource Centre, Black Bess, St. Peter

• Tuesday, February 4

Speightstown Pavilion/Pasture, Speightstown, St. Peter

• Thursday, February 6

Warleigh Facility/Pasture (opposite Trimart Supermarket), Mile-And-A-Quarter, St. Peter

• Friday, February 7

My Lord’s Hill/Licorish Village (by the Goal Keeper Bar and Shop and grey Landship building), St. Michael

The mobile clinic services include routine screening for non-communicable diseases, prostate-specific antigen testing, blood pressure checks and blood sugar testing, screening for sexually transmitted infections, and breast examination and teaching.  Vaccines will not be administered by the mobile clinic.
