Christ Church & St. Philip To Be Fogged

Districts in Christ Church and St. Philip will be fogged next week, when the Vector Control Unit conducts its mosquito reduction programme.

The Unit will fog areas in Christ Church for the first two days of the week before visiting districts in St. Philip.

On Monday, June 16, the team will spray Sayers Court, Ealing Grove, Sebago Drive, Sunset Drive, Casuarina Drive, Ealing Park North Stage 3, and environs.

The next day, Tuesday, June 17, they will focus on Lower Carters Gap, Upper Carters Gap, Carters Grove, Enterprise B, Goodland Gardens, Enterprise A, Liverpool Gardens, Rollins Road, Enterprise Coast Road, Bourne’s Land, and St. Christopher’s Road.

The Unit will concentrate its efforts in St. Philip for the remainder of the week starting in Three Houses, Blades Hill, and Bayfield, on Wednesday, June 18.

The following communities will be targeted on Thursday, June 19: Marley Vale, St. Catherine’s, Industry Hall, Merricks, Coles Terrace, and surrounding areas.

The fogging exercise for the week will conclude on Friday, June 20, in Apple Hall, Inchcape Terrace, Harrismith Road, and neighbouring districts.

Fogging takes place from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily. Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter. Children should not be allowed to play in the fog.

Members of the public are advised that the completion of scheduled fogging activities may be affected by events beyond the Unit’s control. In such circumstances, the Unit will return to communities affected in the soonest possible time.
